Day 10 was a sad day on our trip.  We had to get back on a plane and head back north.  Even though it was only in the 50’s in Florida, the 20’s back home seem pretty cold and the forecast was even calling for temperatures below zero by Tuesday.  We started the day with a breakfast at Zachary’s next to the Radisson from there it was time to hit the road.  We once again used AAA Access Transport as a shuttle service, using 2 vans, one leaving at 10:30 am and another at 1:30 pm.  AAA was right on time and did a great job of getting us to the airport on time and the price was right!  Our flight left Orlando and took us to Kansas City, it was a great flight on Midwest Airlines, with 4 across leather seats and warm chocolate chip cookies.  I ordered the Caribbean Jerk Chicken salad on the flight, it was an excellent salad with some really good jerk dressing served with a cup of fresh fruit.  The layover was quick in KC, but long enough for the ladies to do some shopping.  We had to switch planes, our gate was only 2 gates over and if was quick and easy.  Back in the air we were again in 4 across leather seats and being served warm chocolate chip cookies.  Not far out of KC we could see that white stuff covering the ground, how much I had wished it was white sand and not snow.  My mother who passed away in December had always said that word (snow) was a swear word,  I am starting to understand her reasoning.
Back in Milwaukee Gordy from Diamond Cut Limousine was waiting for us, a quick ride home and back to reality.  My next entry in the blog will be a review on the Carnival Glory and her staff.  For now I will leave you with some photos of the places we visited.
