The 3 musketeers with buckets of beers!  They call it a fun day at sea!  Yes that is what life is all about on the Fun Ship, the Carnival Glory. We can attest to that statement.  Not that we did all that much but a number of us just laid around on the Lido deck absorbing the sunshine.  Well there was more than the sunshine absorbed, quite a few buckets of beer, bloody marys and fun ship drinks as well.

Funship Freddie  We started the day with breakfast in the Platinum dining room.  It’s nice to start out the day with a good breakfast and not have to stand in line for it.   We have a guest with special dietary needs in the group so we have the services of Ramona the restraint hostess.  She has done a great job in assisting with our special needs as she did this morning at breakfast.

After breakfast we headed straight to the Lido deck.  We had quick service from a bar waiter named Putu, he worked very hard for us and will surely receive an extra tip before the end of the cruise.  Compared to our last cruise where there seemed to be a shortage of staff, on this cruise bar waiters will not let you go thirsty.  The day brought us entertainment from Freddie Funship, the Lido Deck Band as well as the hairy chest contest. Yes I entered again but failed to win, maybe next year.

For dinner we opted to skip the main dining room and check out dinner in the Red Sail Café.  The meal was very good for a buffet.  The main entree was jerk roasted pork which I though was very good.  To go along with the buffet they had pasta that was cooked individually for each guest with a variety of sauces.

After dinner it was ladies night in the Casino, the ladies were winning and the men were losing!  We made it a short night and retired early.
